Playlist: Nifty Fifty 2015

As always, we are ending the year with fifty songs we never stopped loving.

Since our last Nifty Fifty playlist, we here at Swell Tone have been exceptionally busy. From disposable camera pictures of artists on tour to the more recent mountain trip with The Wild Honey Pie, we’ve spent 2015 in a whirlwind of reviews, playlists, and gigs galore. We’ve made new friends (and of course kept the old), and have been attempting to “feed the feed” with tasty tunes, eye pleasing pictures, and a few words about our experiences in music. We’ve said hello to new bands like the always lovely LOU and began video sessions with our inaugural artist, Abi Reimold. But, it all comes back to 2015 being a truly swell year in music across genres and the globe. Over the course of the year, there have been a remarkable amount of great songs. Without rank, we’ve compiled for you 50 of those shining gems that you might not necessarily find on other lists. All of these swoon worthy tracks have dug their way deeply into our musical memory. We love them, we replay them, we even dance to some of them, and we want you to enjoy them just as much as we do before the year is over. Here’s to a promising year of new sounds, new artists, and new musical explorations!
