New year, new babe pool!
She’s the man a wonderful 11 years in a row. One of our favorite playlists to make every year is our annual collection of songs dedicated to the hot and cool gals of summer. This year, it seems clear that the official summer babe of the year is Role Model’s proverbial Sally. Even though Role Model had a song on last year’s list as well, it felt like a requirement to begin this year’s playlist with “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out.” We love this playlist because we all know a Sally or are one ourselves. This delightful collection of songs floats through a lot of pining in a perfect balance of sugary sweetness and forlorn longing. These tunes range from from soul to emo to a whole lot of indie rock and pop.
