JW Francis has carved out another jangly slice of sunshine on “Sweet As A Rose.” Every year around Valentine’s Day, the man of many places does a songwriting project where he takes submissions and writes lots of songs for other people’s loved ones. This colorful wonderland of warmth was the result of one of those submissions. Like all JW Francis songs, there’s a seemingly impenetrable web of bright and inviting guitar riffs and the familiar fuzz of Francis’ voice propelling this sweet tune forward. It’s the pure and simple charm of this track that brings it to life and keeps us consistently coming back to dive into this enchanting world of sound. We hope that JW, Sanaz, and everyone who listens to this track also had a very Happy Valentine’s Day and it is hard to imagine you couldn’t while this song plays.
