Emily Sangder‘s new track is a gentle breeze of vulnerability. “Enough” lyrically wanders through the reality of relationships as it floats forward gracefully through a soft bed of riffs, strings, and the muted buzz of the bassline. There’s an effortless fluidity about the arrangement that allows the melody and Sangder’s careful vocals to swell and recede freely. An introspective and meditative charmer with tenderness at its core, “Enough” drifts with a mesmerizing ease.
The video for “Enough,” made by Palisade Plain Films, sets Sangder and her guitar amongst the trees as she performs atop a warped log. There’s an intimacy in the clip’s extreme close ups and a warmth to the coloration that echo the song beautifully.
