Quebec City’s Ghostly Kisses glimmer with an unassuming sparkle. In a haze of bright synth pop, the duo of Margaux Sauvé and Dragos Chiriac delve into the intangibility of time and its deeper meaning on their single “Never Know.” The duo combine riffs of tinkling synths and syncopated guitar with Sauvé’s nearly dissonant harmonies in echoing waves. “Never Know” churns on a subtle pulse as easy to get lost in as time itself. It’s gentle pop for quiet times that we hope to hear much more of in the near future.
