We unearthed some musical treasure this week.
You’re surely familiar with a regular, crisp fall. But, the Oregon coast takes it to another cozy level of cool. In homage to our favorite big, wide beaches that always have a little extra mist and some weathered, magic wood, we’ve made for you (and ourselves) a drifty, autumn playlist. Sometimes, it feels like artists know exactly when they’ve made a song or album that aligns with the fall weather and it certainly feels like many of those are happening this year in particular. We’ve got some deeper cuts from brand new releases and some new bands to us on today’s collection of tracks. Just the right amount of twang and digital sparkle are mixed in with the classic, slow-burning indie rock we love so much. You can almost feel the salty sea spray and the gray cloud cover as you listen to Driftwood and float away below.
