This is one for the cherry, cherry ladies!
We are getting a new groove on in this week’s playlist. While we typically stick to lots of indie rock and pop, we have branched (pun intended) out to a kind of pop better fitting of clubs and dance floors. This collection has high tempos, dreamy choruses, and an unmistakeable tinge of pink. Our local cherry blossoms came early and it seemed everyone in the city was ready to be there at the same time. There’s a cool electricity that comes from that mix of human interaction with the delicate side of natural beauty. We had to find a way to mirror that refreshing balance in this week’s selections.
