New blooms meet old blues!
It’s always spring a bit earlier here in the mild climate of Portland. Often specific floral seasons last quite a short amount of time so you’ve got to soak in their beauty while you can. We spent the last few days having a nice explore through the beautiful blossoms and felt ourselves craving a soft-edged, breezy playlist. So of course, we made one! The key to this particular collection is its willingness to dip into wells of sadness, regret, and contemplation. These songs put the perfect amount of blue to pair with the pastels of the vocals and carefully plucked guitar without forgoing big builds and basslines.
