Ouch, Charlie!
No fingers were bitten in the making of this heavily post-punk playlist. We’ve been spending the last few weeks on the candy-colored, pop-infused world of Coachella as we work on-site. As immersive and enamoring as North America’s largest music festival can be, this week we were looking for a soundtrack that would really poke a music whole in that shininess. And, frankly, we were long overdue for a collection of post-punk gems. This particular playlist certainly matches its name and provides the kind of musical accelerant that many hot desert days in a row really needs. There are also a few hidden covers and gems mixed in. We hope this tracks musically toss a punch in your direction.
