Today, we’re starting a new series on Swell Tone called Artist in Residence. Our friends and bands we love send us a video of a song live from their place of isolation that we hope brings you some moments of joy. We couldn’t be happier to begin with this live rendition of “2ndDoorFloor.”
Haggert Mctaggert is the solo project of Braden Lawrence who you may also recognize as the drummer of The Districts. We were instantly charmed by the hypnotizing, self-titled album he released in 2016. Filled with fuzz and existential musings, the collection of eight tracks is wide window into a warm world of wonder. “2ndDoorFloor” is gem from that album that builds patiently and gloriously.
