Good Morning have had a huge year. In 2019, the Melbourne band have released two full albums (The Option and Basketball Breakups) as well as a pair of heartfelt singles. They are now working with the lovely people at Our Golden Friend, did their first headlining tour of the US, and are currently on tour in Asia. It’s great to see that the golden charm of their gritty and intelligent bedroom pop translates all to audiences all over the world. Their show in Portland was every bit as delightfully soft yet purposeful as the last time we saw them play at CMJ in 2015. Between the clever, endearing songwriting and humorous banter, their live show is a continuous stream of hip-swiveling fun.
When the band came through Mississippi Studios, we dropped off some disposable cameras with them to capture moments of their trek through the US.
