Guided by just the right amount of melodic repetition, a colorful but steady suspense is built over the course of the track that gets sonically reset by the lyrical glare of “sirens.” Rocketing forward on the power of the rhythm section, this song’s barrage of guitars all coalesce with a united push towards this chorus until they vein and splinter into thoroughly interlocked web of searing riffs. Similarly, the lyrics fluctuate from focused resistance to interjected moments of detailed distraction.
