Melbourne’s Amyl and The Sniffers are a lot of many good things. Part pub rock, part punk, and part good time, the full throttle 4-piece exude their maximum amount of energy at all times. Both live and recorded, it’s hard not to flail and sing along to the scream-worthy refrains and matching guitars in overdrive. Amyl and The Sniffers really know how to lean all the way into their particular blend of raucous rock.
When they rolled through Union Transfer earlier this summer, the band snapped some photos on a disposable camera for us. The photos in a tiny backyard are arguably the best set we’ve ever received. In true punk fashion, we’ve had to resort to two playlists to capture all of the tracks they’ve been listening to at the moment. Each have their own distinctly punk and certifiably Australian feel. Play both sets below and have a gander above to get a full snapshot of a day on tour the the band. Catch Amyl and The Sniffers live when they come back around to Philly on October 12th at Beautiful World Syndicate.
