Holy wow, Holy Now! The Swedish four piece hit all the right mellow pop tones in their latest track, “Wake Up!” Each instrument gets its chance to fizzle and shine as the glowing amalgamation of textures winds around the desirous melody. It’s a veritable pop dream constantly churning forward towards the light at the end of the tunnel of its lyrical darkness. Interludes of blaring harmonies and a guitar solo as bright as the sun intermingle gracefully with the steadfast rhythms of the bass and drums through the song’s quick build and patient release.
Holy Now’s debut EP is out on Lazy Octopus Records in May.
