Since the 2013 release of her debut LP You go your way, I’ll go mine, Melbourne’s Ainslie Wills has been relatively quiet. But when you are cooking up something as hypnotizing as “Drive,” it should take some time. Recorded and written in Brisbane alongside the writing team of Lawrence Folvig, Arron Light and producer Matt Redlich, Wills’ penned a genre-melding number that bursts with a fiery passion. The song’s lyrical desire for escape smolders in Wills’ folk-tinged vocals and searing, indie-rock guitar lines.
