Garage rock rabble-rousers Spring King have got a new video for their mellowest track to date. Spring King was one of my CMJ favorites from this past year. This Manchester group’s live performances turn unbridled chaos into addictive, musical magic that is a fun, sweaty, all-around good time. Set to the sweet sounds of “Not Me, Not Now,” their latest clip, filmed and edited by Amin Musa, shows snippets of their time at CMJ, including the set I saw at Pianos. The liveliness of the New York City and their performances are subdued in black and white, forming an artful recreation of their time in the States. The track was released as part of the first 80N7 compilation last year which was just as good as their latest compilation. I’m excited to see what Spring King does in 2015.
