Get ready to get down to the infectious funk of Boulevards. I really just can’t repeat Jamil Rashad’s (Boulevards) two minutes of bass-slapping funk enough. “Got to Go” mashes Rashad’s pop vocals with the flashy, rump-shakin production of Rollergirl! into a jam that will get you moving. Rashad’s passion for crate digging shines through in the song’s noticeable elements pulled from past genres and eras. In 2013, Rashad (as Boulevards) released him Acrylic City EP which you can listen to below. But, I’m really loving the funky fresh direction he has taken on “Got to Go.” As Rashad himself would say:
