Like a child’s musical jewelry box filled with adult turmoil, the new song from Oslo’s Aleksander Waaktaar blossoms into an anthemic realization. “She Really Doesn’t Love You” is a tune spent delicately and passionately delivering the message of its title in all of the little moments and a massive chorus. The warm glow of this melody radiates from beginning to end as the song uses every nook and cranny of this arrangement to wrap these lyrics in a cozy blanket of swelling textures. This intimate symphony of catharsis provides an effortlessly smooth track for the rollercoaster ride of emotion that is working to accept unrequited love. Waaktaar says of the song:

It’s no surprise that this track came from the Norwegian label that’s consistently putting out the most magical releases, Koke Plate. This is the only song released so far by Aleksander Waaktaar but we are already eagerly anticipating more from his debut album, All Wrong, which is set for an April 24th release on Koke Plate.
