Leave it to Her’s to somehow make a robbery scene both creepy and fun. Liverpool’s finest pop duo are moonlighting as thieves in the darkness of an eery house in the woods in their video for “Harvey.” The first and most playful track off of their album from last year’s Invitation to Her’s becomes a soundtrack to some mischief that never gets managed due to some unforeseen inhabitants in the mansion they are attempting to burgle. As the pair make their way through the shadowy house, they come across another nightmare behind every turn. Between a pupil-less Pizzagirl in a bathtub, a community of sheeted ghosts, and themselves, the haunted house seems to boundlessly increase in insanity. They may have failed this time but be on the lookout for this dangerous duo. A PSA from the band has even been issued:
“Bolt down your valuables, hide away your silverware and stash your adult contemporary music collection somewhere safe. Two seedy types have been spotted in your neighborhood and they be stealing everything out here. This is a PSA from Her’s warning you of these treacherous thieves, known as ‘Skinner n Butch’.”
