The overwhelmingly talented Raeko recently released a track that keeps us coming back. Better known as Jason Suwito, but perhaps best recognized as a Sir Sly guy, the producer and multi-instrumentalist released his second original single “Back 2 U.” Collaborating with Maya Tuttle (of the Colourist), the pair stir the pot of indie-pop with an electronic edge. Dark and deep layers of synth mix with a steady and stimulating beat to create an overall sense of heavy seduction. Impeccably supporting the lyrics Raeko wrote himself, the sonic narrative remains smooth yet powerful including a hook that pulls you in without mercy. Everything about this track works in perfect synchronization, begging for replay after replay.
